They have an added tinge of molybdenum, which makes it better resistant to corrosion.
SS 410 Backing Ring Flanges is a circular metal ring, with holes around the perimeter, used in pairs to bolt two HDPE pipes together, or used when installing flanged components, e.g. water meters, wafer valves, check valves. This allow length of PE pipe to be disconnected and re connected, for inspections, replacement, or relocation.
Stainless Steel 410 Backing Rings Flanges are used in PE100 PE pipelines to connect flanged valves, flange adaptors and other flanged made of DI or Stainless Steel. The 410 Backing Ring Flanges is matched to the steel or DI pipe flange specification and is placed behind the PE100 PE stub flange which is butt welded to the PE100 PE pipe. SS 410 Backing rings to comply with AS/NZS 4087 Figure B7 and MRWA-W-306B. Material of make Stainless Steel 410 to ASTM A182.
